What is Industrial Design
Industrial Design is a process in which design is applied to the products and is being manufactured through techniques, and then production takes place. Industrial Design is a profession that practices designing products, devices, objects, and also services that are used by people all over the world.
Industrial Design course teaches the students how a product is being designed and then sent forward for production. The course’s main aim is to cater the creativity and equip them with the skills that are necessary to make a career out of the box.

Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Industrial Design
There are minimum eligibility criteria of colleges to get admission in the college or university. If the student fits the eligibility criteria, then the student gets admission in the college.
For Undergraduates:
Candidates who wish to pursue this course as an Undergraduate, the minimum eligibility criteria are they should have a higher secondary with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised board.
If the college conducts an entrance examination, then the candidate has to appear for the entrance examination to procure admission in the college.
For Post-graduates:
Candidates who wish to pursue this course as a Postgraduate, the minimum eligibility criteria are they should have qualified bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent.
If the college or university conducts entrance examination, then the candidate has to appear for the entrance exam to procure admission in the college.

UCEED - Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design is an entrance examination that is conducted to procure admission to the Bachelors of Design course. The candidates need to appear for the exam to get admission to the college.
CEED - Common Entrance Examination for Design is an entrance examination that is conducted for the students to obtain admission to the post-graduate studies in the field of design and is held annually. After qualifying the examination, the candidate gets admission in the college or university.
NIFT Entrance Exam - National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination is an entrance examination that is conducted to shortlist the aspirant to get admission in design programmes. The students have secured admission in the UG and PG courses.
Pearl Academy Entrance Exam - It is an entrance examination that is conducted to secure admission in the academy at Pearl Academy at various campuses. After qualifying the examination, the candidate gets admission in the college.
